Beef Noodle Stir Fry

What you will need:

  • 300g beef fillet, thinly sliced
  • 450g Hokkien Noodles
  • 2 tbs canola oil
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 100g green beans
  • 1 bunch broccolini
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 chilli, sliced
  • Coriander
  • 2 tsp cornflour
  • 2 tbs water
  • 3tbs oyster sauce
  • 60ml soya sauce

How to make it:

Marinate beef strips with garlic and 1 tablespoon of soya sauce.  Leave for 15 minutes.

Slice beans, broccolini, carrots, red pepper and onion.

Place noodles in a heatproof bowl and cover with hot water.  Leave for 1 minute, then drain and separate.

Heat the oil in a wok over a high heat. Add onion and beef and cook until brown, add vegetables, cook for 1 minute then add noodles.  

Combine cornflour and water together with the oyster and soya sauce. Pour over noodles and cook until heated through and sauce has thickened.  Stir in sesame oil.

Garnish with fresh chilli and coriander.
