French Baguettes

What you will need:

  • Small Par-baked baguette loaf (available most supermarkets)
  • OR, homemade white bread dough, rolled into baguette shape
  • Olive oil to taste
  • Olive Tapenade as needed
  • Soft cheese of choice, goats, blue or taleggio
  • Fresh herbs of choice (Italian parsley, thyme or basil)

How to make it:

Place baguette(s) onto lined perforated tray and into Kleenmaid Combi Steam Oven. 

Steam 10 minutes/100ºC.

Change setting to fan forced/225ºC and bake bread 15 minutes or until golden. (This will depend on package directions or using own bread dough.)

Cool slightly before slicing, brushing with Olive oil and toasting on a BBQ, both sides.

Serve hot, spread each with Olive Tapenade, cheese and garnish with a few fresh snipped herbs.
