The KMHCSF filter is designed for use with the Kleenmaid HCSUB511 UltraTap 5 water enhancement and filtration system. It is composed of polypropylene and activated carbon block media and is designed to provide general purpose filtration in a domestic, potable water installation.
Depending on local water quality the estimated domestic use lifecycle when used with potable water for chlorine taste and odour reduction is 41,000 litres and for limescale and sediment removal 4,100 litres. The filter removes sediment >3-microns diameter.
The water filter should be changed at the earlier of every 12 mths or when the unit indicates need for replacement. Filter life is not warranted and depends on external factors.
